Start with what needs attention

An alert rarely waits until you are sitting at your desk. On a phone, the first task is often a quick assessment: which service is affected, is the problem still happening, and where should the investigation start?

PageLantern’s mobile and tablet layouts bring that assessment into a screen that fits. The overview places monitors needing attention ahead of healthy ones and combines their current state with recent history. You can open a monitor directly instead of navigating through a wide desktop table.

Read the recent history in context

The mobile overview’s Last 24 hours timeline uses returned monitoring data. The history helps distinguish a recent interruption from a longer period of trouble, giving the current status some context before you take action.

Inside a monitor, recent checks sit alongside information such as the last response, last check time, and consecutive failures. Use the Checks tab to look more closely at the available results. A few recent readings can help frame your next step, but they should not stand in for a complete incident investigation.

Keep common actions within reach

Monitor detail includes Run now and Pause or Resume controls. That makes it easier to request a fresh observation after a fix or deliberately manage a monitor while working on the underlying service. Check the monitor name and target before acting, just as you would on a larger screen.

The smaller-screen layouts also cover monitor lists, incidents, checks, integrations, analytics, billing, and status pages. Consistent, compact rows make it easier to move from the initial alert to the relevant information without repeatedly zooming or scrolling across a desktop layout.

Prepare before the next alert

Sign in to PageLantern in your phone’s browser and open a monitor you know well. Review the overview, recent checks, and incident information while there is no pressure. Keep your monitor names specific enough that a teammate can recognize the affected customer journey from a small screen.

This is the responsive PageLantern web workspace. History still depends on available check data and a working connection, so pay attention to loading or unavailable states. Use the mobile view for a focused assessment, then continue with the evidence and tools the situation requires.
